STANDARD INSULATION
Every Florida county, every city, every insulation type. Standard Insulation is a Florida insulation contractor serving residential, commercial and industrial work statewide. We built a programmatic site of about 6,765 URLs that maps every county and city to the specific insulation types people search for, with climate-zone-accurate R-value content.

The challenge
Insulation is bought locally and by type. A homeowner searches spray foam in their city, not insulation in Florida. Standard Insulation works statewide, so it needed a page that matches that exact combination in hundreds of places. Florida also has a technical wrinkle: the state spans two climate zones, and attic R-value requirements differ between them. Generic, copy-pasted contractor content gets that wrong. The company also offers services most competitors do not, like fireproofing and wine cellar insulation, which needed their own space rather than a line in a list.
The solution
We built a structured, statewide site of about 6,765 URLs. Eighteen statewide service pages cover the core offering. Sixty-seven county hubs and 880 city hubs map the state. Under every location, six insulation-type pages follow one clean pattern: /locations/county/city/type/. A dedicated fireproofing section covers warehouses and commercial buildings, and wine cellar insulation has its own page. One hundred blog posts answer the questions buyers ask before they request a bid. Location content uses the correct climate zone for each area, so the R-value guidance on a Panhandle page differs from the guidance on a South Florida page.
SEO strategy
The URL architecture matches search behavior: county, then city, then insulation type, each a real page with its own target. Pages link up and down that hierarchy so search engines can crawl from the state level to a single spray foam page in a single city. The sitemap index is split by section, which makes a site this size easier for search engines to process and easier for us to monitor. Climate-zone-accurate R-value content (Zone 1 versus Zone 2) gives each page specific, correct information instead of a template shell. Results vary by market, competition, budget and campaign.
Design strategy
The design reads like a serious contractor: dark, clean and technical, with a deep blue that carries headlines and calls to action. Templates are built to repeat thousands of times without looking thin. Every location page follows the same order: what we install here, the climate-zone guidance, the insulation types available, and the bid request. That consistency helps visitors and keeps the build maintainable. The 24/7 phone line and the bid form stay visible throughout, because insulation buyers often arrive mid-project with a deadline.
